Veteran Benefits
As a veteran there are many benefits that you can utilize. Information on everything from healthcare to financial aid assistance are included.
The City of Chicago's Veterans Resource Office is a one-stop clearing house designed to provide assistance for better living and health services to veterans of the United States armed forces and their surviving spouses.
The Veterans Resource Office utilizes city, federal, state, county and community based resources to provide appropriate and timely referral assistance to veterans and their families. Because of these partnerships, the office is able to ensure that our veterans get the benefits they deserve. These resource services include, but are not limited to:

U.S Department of Veteran Afairs: Federal Benefits for Veterans, Dependents and Survivors
Veterans of the United States armed forces may be eligible for a broad range of benefits and services provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Some of these benefits may be utilized while on active duty. These benefits are codified in Title 38 of the United States Code.
